First Open Gym Nite

On Saturday, November 17, 2007 we held our very first Open Gym Nite in association with Farr West Tumblers (thanks Annette!). This nite featured a dance workshop, tumbling workshop, movie, pizza and games. Parents were able to drop their kids off to get a much needed break, or just get some christmas shopping done! If you are interested in Open Gym Nite, our next one will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Reservations are required, so sign up at the rec. center or email me at justforkicksdancestudio@hotmail.com Cost is $12 per child.

Super Spooky Halloween Bash!!!

We had our annual Halloween party last week and it was sure fun! The girls all came dressed up and ready to party. We played a little Halloween B-I-N-G-O and then danced around musical pictures. Everyone passed out treats to their fellow spooks and the girls were all set for Halloween!

Let the 07-08 Dance Season Begin!!!

We started our 07-08 Dance season on September 10, 2007 and it sure has been fun getting to know all the new girls. We are working hard on our skills and technique so we can begin learning our dances for our winter performance. I think this year we're going to branch out a little bit and try a new location for our winter performance - OWATC has a great Auditorium with a stage and plenty of seating! We're also getting all our shoes and stuff ordered so everyone can be at their best! Thanks to all the parents and families that have made our first month this year successful!

Spring Recital

Our spring recital was held on June 2, 2007. Our theme was "Rockin' our jukebox through the decades." We had songs from the 20's to the present. The girls did an excellent job and I am SO proud of them!
