5th Annual Halloween Party

Monday night was our 5th Annual Halloween Party. We had a blast together all dressed up! The girls went home with enough candy and prizes that they shouldn't have to trick or treat this year! (Yeah right!!!). Thanks to all the parents/grandparents that took time to dress up their darling dancers and send them to class. Also, thanks for the treats that everyone shared! Hope you all have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Now Registering for Fall Classes!!!

I am now taking registrations for fall classes! If you register before June 15th the registration fee is ONLY $10!!! (Reg. $20). Contact me if you need a form emailed to you or you can pick one up in the lobby of the Rec. Center.
If you don't get registered by the 15th - DON'T WORRY!!! In person registration will be held July 29th from 4-8 p.m. in the dance room. If you bring a friend - each of you will receive $5 off your registration.
Remember--classes are offered for children ages 3 & up and will begin after labor day! Thanks for your support!

Spring Showcase

Friday, May 30th was our Spring Showcase and I am ExTrEmElY proud of how well all the girls did this year!! Our theme was "What's on TV tonight?" and all the classes did dances that respresented different shows - like "This Old House", "American Idol", "Dancing With the Stars", "Hooked on Aerobics" and many more!!! We had one little gal who danced with a broken toe (Way to GO!!!), one little girl who missed due to a Disneyland trip and one poor little girl who missed because she had the stomach flu (dang it!). But all in all, it turned out really nice and I couldn't be more proud of the girls for all their hard work this year!

Ice Cream Party

This year I started something new with the dance girls to help motivate them and keep them working on their technique throughout the year. They have 3 sections to complete with 4 different skills to pass off. When they pass off one section they get a "prize". When a whole class passes off a section the whole class gets a party. This has been really good because the little girls encourage one another to pass of their skills so the whole class can earn a party. I forgot to take pictures of the first class' party, but we had another one last night....enjoy!

Well we seem to finally be settling in in the new room. It really has been a good transition for us. I got some lettering (my 3rd job) up on the front doors, so we look super official! Here's what it looks like....

Half-Time Performances

To all dancers and parents -

Just a reminder that we will be having a pre-performance practice on Friday, Feb 1st from 7-8 p.m. at the Rec. Center. Practice will run until 7:45 p.m. at which time there will be a SHORT parent meeting regarding our Spring Recital and Pizza Fundraiser.

Also, please refer to your calendars for your Saturday performance times. Remember to report to the dance room just outside the gym for warm-up and line-up.

Good luck to all the girls - you have all been working extremely hard and I know you will do a WONDERFUL job!

New Room!!!

We have moved into a new room at the Rec. Center. An addition has been completed on the Rec. Center and we are now in the room the weight and cardio equipment used to be in! It is really nice to have our own little space. No tumbling distractions for the little ones, no basketball players, etc. etc. So it will be really nice once we get organized and get some pictures up on those bare walls!
